Ford can't make a car that runs more than 2 consecutive days without something falling off and now they are taking the wheel and PARKING the piece of CRAP?!?!?! What do you do when one hits your Yugo in front of the Starbucks? Who is responsible and do I still get to stomp the snot out of the douche bag who hit me? or do I have to fly to Sterling Heights, Mich and find the goober who designed it? (consequently shoving his pocket protector up his "what for" and deflating the tires on his Segway??) My brain hurts...

It's not that I don't think they can't do it automatically, it's just that these systems are taking the driving out of driving, and on that I agree with you. It seems like these systems are doing nothing but taking the control away from drivers, and while that's probably a good thing for the 95% of them (since most drivers are terrible anyhow,) it's bad when one of these drivers who are used to having everything done for them get behind the wheel of a car where you actually have to drive it. They wouldn't know what to do!
