Direct injection and turbocharging a V6 is a good start. I’ve often wished my WRX had DI.

I mean Mustangs not having V8′s as Not having a V8 option.

As far as the Supra comment goes, that’s why I specified “Think about it: RWD, twin turbo V6. As long as Ford isn’t cutting corners in the motor/tranny compartment, I think that this thing will take off.” If the motor isn’t built cutting corners (Such as the legendary 2JZ)

I think it will do well. In all honestly, I’m an import guy, but I’m paid not to be biased. =]

“Mustangs” have not had V8s for a while. I think you missed the outrage party on that one :)

The Supra’s status exists because it looks hot as hell and has an extremely stout block in it from the factory.
