National Speed, Inc. is a newly formed national chain of automotive performance shops built to feed the ever-growing needs of today's car and truck enthusiasts... If it's got four wheels we can make it go faster!!! Our first location in Wilmington, North Carolina, aims to set new standards of excellence in performance shop operations, marketing, product installation, and tuning for franchises to follow.

What Makes Us Different?

More often than not, today's typical performance shop is located in a poorly maintained building that's littered with grease stains and old car parts. There is no automation for scheduling or estimating, and the overall customer experience is poor.

In contrast, National Speed will be housed in conveniently located, modern buildings that offer an open showroom with a wide array of performance products to consider. There will always be a knowledgeable and friendly performance consultant available to help answer any questions you may have regarding your car's possibilities and to provide assistance in determining your projects needs.

What National Speed Has to Offer

National Speed is driven by our desire to exceed our customers' expectations. To meet the demands of what the modern car enthusiast expects we strive to offer our customers every possible convenience.

1. Car Club Creation and Support. NSI is working closely with national car and truck clubs to help support and create local clubs in areas where NSI shops will be located. We seek to create a community among car enthusiasts.
2. Educational Seminars. NSI is developing educational presentations that our stores will use to teach customers about various performance modifications and different forms of competition. We see this as an opportunity to provide a safe environment to educate our customers on proper drag racing techniques, driver safety, etc.
3. AWD Dyno and Tuning. A dynamometer (dyno) is an essential and often overlooked key to providing the customer with a well-rounded performance vehicle. Without it, the customer will be limited to only minor performance upgrades. Unfortunately, over 90% of performance shops do not own a dyno and therefore do not provide performance tuning services. In contrast, all National Speed shops will be equipped with an AWD dyno, and tuning services will be offered to all customers that request it.
4. The NSI eStore. The NSI eStore offers thousands of competitively priced automotive products.

What's this about a TV show?

National Speed's reality television show, MODS, is currently in development! Combining the drama of clashing personalities, interactive audience participation, and adrenaline-charged racing competitions - two teams of car enthusiasts fight it out to determine who can build the best sports car... and who gets to drive it home. Even more exciting is that YOU get to be an active participant. Each week you'll have the ultimate say in which modification will be installed by the teams via the MODS website, which will provide blog and forum facilities, as well as vendor promotion and advertising.
